Back in High School, Carlos sat in back of me in our Government class (years later I learned he loved the smell of my hair). After graduation, we ran into each other a couple of times; but that was it. Twelve years later, thanks to the internet we crossed paths. I will never forget how nervous I was when I saw him heading towards me that day (he was actually picking up a book from me - he had offered to help me with an assignment). I have to say conversation came easy.... and my friends could not believe that he talked more than me. He does! For the last 3 years we have shared many beautiful moments, learned from those difficult ones and are excited about the ones to come. We have both learned to have patience with each other, respect one another and to say I love you every chance you get. We have one life & we want to make it a great one!
